University Park, PA (WJAC) — Another one of Penn State's stars has announced that he will be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Defensive back Kalen King made the announcement on social media on New Year's Eve.
King joins several other Penn State stars, like lineman Olu Fashanu, tight end Theo Johnson and defensive end Chop Robinson, who have declared for the upcoming draft.
In his post, King stated that he has decided to forego his final season of eligibility and "pursue my dream of playing in the NFL."
King was also one of several Nittany Lions who opted out of playing in Saturday's Peach Bowl.
King played in 38 career games for the Nittany Lions, recording 82 total tackles and three interceptions.
